  32. This is a demonstration version of the Jack Nicklaus 5 golf simulation.
  33. A separate demo of the Golf Course Designer is also available.
  34. This demo includes the first three holes from Huailalai Golf Club.
  35. The following list describes what is in this demo:

  37. *Play 3 holes of golf.
  38. *Use one 3D golfer.
  39. *Play Stroke Play only.
  40. *Single player or shared keyboard modes of play only.

  42. The full version will include:

  45. *A Golf Course Designer to build your own courses.
  46. *Stroke Play, Match Play, Best Score Competitions, Sudden Death,

  48. *Multiplayer gaming via LAN, Serial Cable, Modem, Internet and Shared

  59. Installation:

  61. 1.  Locate the file JN5GOLFD.EXE and Double-click it.
  62. 2.  Click the "Setup" button.
  63. 3.  The game will install to C:\Program Files\Accolade\JN5Demo

  68. Basic Controls:
  69.  
  70. Right/Left Arrow        Aiming
  71. Up/Down Arrow            Intensity 
  72.         (easy or hard swing with chosen club)
  73. Control Key and Rt/Lt Arrow    Fade/Draw shot
  74. Control Key and Up/Dn Arrow    High/Low shot

  76. All controls can also be made with the mouse.

  78. Swing Meter        
  79. Click on the golfer or hit the space bar to bring up the meter.
  80. Click once to start meter, click again at power mark (top) and
  81. again at accuracy mark (bottom).
  82. Power mark corresponds to clubs distance as seen in the Club Info area
  83. and will be accurate based on shot hit off level fairway with no wind
  84. (in other words, need to compensate for shots out of rough, sand, etc.).

  87. Use right click menu to access most common features.

  90. Choose Animate Grid in the View menu to get additional terrain help.
